Wonderland Room

In our Wonderland Room, we provide every child with plentiful opportunities to experience a range of stimulating, age-related activities within a nurturing, homely environment.

Our room has been designed to encourage children’s play and allows them to access the many areas we have including: maths and science, role play, small world, story corner, construction and of course arts and crafts.  With its warm and reassuring feel it helps the children feel safe and secure whilst they explore it’s many facilities.

Our new imagination area has been hugely successful with the children allowing them to learn through play and mimic the world they see around them.  It includes a play kitchen, dressing up area, babies, doctors, builders, vets and hairdressers.

​

As the children become more independent, they require opportunities and facilities to help them make decisions.  Our attached bathroom supports the children’s learning and growth and supports their health and self-care education.

We have a wonderful, caring team of practitioners who are experienced and trained to nurture, care and inspire every child, providing the best start and education for the children.  With a key person system in place, we ensure that the care and needs of each and every child is met.

As the children start to learn more about themselves and the world around them, our practitioners provide the perfect balance of exploration and routine. We plan activities around the children's interests, as well as a range of adult led activities such as music and movement, baking, sensory play and crafts.

We take every opportunity to access the outdoor space where we participate in a range of games and activities as well as exploring the local environment.  Our wonderful garden has been equipped with a range of play elements that enhances our children’s day to day experiences.
