At Battenhall Nursery we understand the importance of having a healthy and varied diet.
We use a local, award winning catering company to provide hot lunches and afternoon teas that are delivered daily.
We provide healthy snacks for the children during morning and afternoon sessions. Our snacks consist of fresh and dried fruit, toast, brioche, crackers, cheese and milk or water.

Our Nursery operates a strict nut free policy; please do not bring nuts or nut products or anything that may have been in contact with nuts onto the premises.
Cupcakes Catering are a dedicated children’s catering company. They are committed to offering a ‘local and fresh’ approach to Early Years Catering, and ensure that the food and menus they create are planned with the care and attention to detail that parents would expect.
Menus are specifically planned for children aged 0-8 years.
Menus meet Children's Food Trust food and drink guidelines
An exciting, varied and nutritionally balanced menu is offered each day
Individual allergy requirements are handled with utmost care and attention
Dishes are all served with traditional accompaniments ensuring a balanced meal every day.
Menus are freshly prepared in local kitchens by an experienced team of cooks and delivered hot and ready to serve.
